Overview:
The Koumori will be a dynamic Third Space destination, offering both indoor and outdoor experiences designed to foster connection, creativity, and community.
It will feature a diverse range of scheduled programs, engaging social events, and eclectic exhibitions that will inspire curiosity, creativity, and meaningful conversation.
Centered around three core areas; Art, Wellness & Health, and Specialties— Koumori will curate experiences that nourish both the mind and body.
The Art component will include interactive workshops, gallery-style exhibitions, and creative meetups showcasing local and emerging talent.
The Wellness & Health offerings will promote balance and well-being through guided meditation sessions, movement classes, nutrition talks, and mental health awareness events.
The Specialties category will bring unique, curated experiences such as cultural showcases, guest speakers, pop—up events, and seasonal activities designed to connect people from diverse backgrounds.
Together, these focus areas will create a welcoming space that celebrates discovery, personal growth, and community engagement.

Koumori Halloween Art Show & Party Prospectus
Presented by: The Koumori Social and Event Center Event Date: Saturday, November1, 2025 Time: 5:00 PM ‐ 11PM CST Location: The Sactuary, 432 S Goldthwaite St, Montgomery, AL 36104-3913 MAP Overview: Koumori invites Alabama-based visual artists to submit original spooky, surreal, or Halloween-themed artwork for a one-night-only Halloween art show and fundraiser party. This immersive, curated event will showcase 13 local artists; all artwork will be available for purchase. Guests can enjoy signature drinks, hauntingly atmospheric decor, and optional costumes, while event associates and volunteers appear in darkly elegant attire to the backdrop of eerie, spellbinding music. Participating artists will each create an original artwork on a provided board that reflects the show 's theme, using their own style and chosen medium. As this is an adult venue, the piece may include mature content ‐ an opportunity to delve into and expand your monster nightmare imagery in true dark-side fashion. think skeletons and classic monsters, sexy witches and old hags, spiders and snakes, full moons and werewolves, beasts and cosmic creatures, and bloodthirsty vampires ‐ whatever lurks in the shadows of your imagination. Artists will also be provided with an area for a display table for their traditional style artworks, distribute treats to attendees, and assist in selecting the evening 's costume contest winner. A professional photographer will capture the night in all its dark glory ‐attendees in costume, the eerie beauty of the Bloody 13 artworks, artists alongside their creations, and the hauntingly decorated display tables. Halloween-themed food and drinks will be available for guests to enjoy. Awards: The Koumori ‐ Dark Masterpiece Award First Place will be ribboned by the votes of our gathered mortals, night stalkers, and monsters, with the victor revealed in a grand announcement before the night's final toll. First Place gift bag will be given to the winner. Beast in Show Crowned from the crypt as the most fiendishly fabulous of them all, this creature 's costume bewitched the crowd and claimed the night’s dark glory. First Place Gift Bag will be given to the winner. Partial proceeds from artwork sales will benefit the future building and permanent home of Koumori, a community-rooted visual arts and event space. |
